Get On Track has successfully raised funds to refurbish the track at Cocoa Beach High School. The 2023 Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5k will be raising funds to purchase track and field equipment for next spring, funding the cross-country and track & field programs at the school, and funding Kiwanis scholarships for high school seniors.
The Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot 5k and Cocoa Beach Art Show are long-running traditions in downtown Cocoa Beach on Thanksgiving weekend.

Race starts and ends at the Bailiwick Mall, 20 N. Brevard Avenue, on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd 6:30 - 7:50 am: Late registration & packet pickup at Bailiwick Mall parking lot 8:00 am: 5k Run/Walk Start 9:30 am: Little Gobblers Fun Run (free) - (Register on race day) AWARDS • All finishers receive a commemorative 25th anniversary medal • No age group, team, or costume awards • Male and Female - 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall, master, grand master, senior grand master, receive awards in addition to medals AMENITIES • Unisex or ladies' short-sleeve shirt to first 2,800 entries • Electronic timing • Post-race refreshments • Dozens of fabulous raffle prizes PACKET PICKUP Friday, November 17 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cocoa Beach Friday Fest (downtown Cocoa Beach) Tuesday, November 21 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cocoa Beach Recreation Center, 321 Ramp Road, Cocoa Beach Wednesday, November 22 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Cocoa Beach Recreation Center ENTRY FEES $25 Individual by Oct 15 $30 Individual by Oct 16 thru Nov 22 $35 Race Day $20 Individual NO SHIRT by Oct 15 $25 Individual NO SHIRT by Oct 16 thru Nov 22 $30 Race Day $100 Turkey Team of 4 by Oct 15 $120 Turkey Team of 4 by Oct 16 thru Nov 21 $30 Virtual Option (Entries for teams will not be accepted after Tuesday, November 21st) Turkey Team must carry a 12 lb. turkey over the course (supplied on race day). Parking available 2 blocks west of the start at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on Minutemen Causeway, Cocoa Beach Community Church on A1A northbound, on numbered streets north and south of Minutemen, and area lots. City parking garage for a fee. No parking on Brevard Avenue between Minutemen and 2nd Street North. COMMUNITY OUTREACH Share the spirit of Thanksgiving and bring non-perishable food items to packet pickup or race day to help the less fortunate in our community. Donations will be delivered to the food pantry at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection on Minutemen Causeway.
